yakın gelecek / near future
Yakın gelecekte, bir zanaat ya da sanatları olanlar ayakta kalabilecekler...
Marangoz, bahçıvan, demirci, saatçi, kasap, müzisyen...
Sadece bilginin üretilmesi ya da fikrin bulunmasıyla ayakta kalmak, o fikirleri işleyecek ve ürünlere dönüştürecek, talep edenler ve sistemler olmadan nasıl mümkün olabilir ki?
Mevcut sistemin derinden sarsıldığı bir zamandayız ve bu şiddetlenerek artacak gibi görünüyor. İleriye bakıp yaşadığımız kaygan ekonomik zemine karşı uyanık olmakta fayda var. Aklındakini kendinin üretebileceğin duruma gelmek gerek.
İyi zamanlarında üzerinden çok kazandığı insanları, sektörleri kötü zamanlarında terk eden bu kaygan zeminin kurbanı olmamak için, elleri kişisel dert taşlarının altına sokmak, alet edevata sarılmak, elleri kirletmek gerek... Çünkü kirlenmek güzeldir...
Yeni dönemin uç kült figürünü selamlıyorum!
In the near future, only the ones who know arts or crafts will be able to stand on their own feet.
Carpenter, gardner, blacksmith, watchmaker, butcher, musician...
How would it be possible to stand on your own feet by only producing the information and creating ideas without the presence of the ones who demand those ideas and information; and the systems which process and turn those ideas into the products?
We are going through a time period in which the current system is trembling deeply and strongly. And it looks like that this shiver will get gradually stronger. We have to be awake and aware of that slippery economic system under our feet. We have to improve ourselves to the point where we can produce (make them real) our ideas by ourselves.
In order not to be a victim of this slippery system, which abandons the ones over whom it has gained a really good revenue during the good times, we have to put our hands under the heavy personal doubt stones, take the tools in our hands and make our hands dirty. Because getting dirty is beautiful.
Salute to the avantgarde cult figure of our times!

Buradaki şu küçük çocuklar, önlerindeki adamın kılıcıyla mı oynuyorlar, yoksa bana mı öyle geliyor...O sırada işte ressama sorası geliyor insanın...Can Dündar: Neden? Nedir derdin kuzum? Those children there; are they playing with the sword of the man which is standing infront of them, or only I assume so...At this moment, man always wants to ask the painter...Can Dündar: Why? ( Can Dündar is a journalist and Why? is his program on TV ) What is your problem darling?

21. BIO
abu'nun arkasından Slovenya'ya gittim. 21. BIO'nun açılışına katıldım ve ertesi gün de bienali gezdim. Şirindi, ne diyebilirim ki... Prototipin üretimindeki yardımlarından dolayı Yılmaz Zenger'e sonsuz teşekkürler. abu ve bienal Kasım'ın 2 sine kadar Ljubljana'daki Fuzine kalesinde ziyaret edilebilir. www.bio.si adresinden bienal ile ilgili tüm bilgilere ve etkinlik programına ulaşılabilir.
I went to Slovenia to see abu. I attended to the opening ceremony of the biennale and next day visited the exhibition. It was cute, what can I say... For the all support and help during the production process of the prototype, Thank you Yılmaz Zenger... abu and biennale can be visited until November 2, in Ljubljana Fuzine Castle. In the adress- www.bio.si - all information and program of the biennale is reachable.
